Prior to forming Helen Halewski & Associates, Helen was a global business executive with more than two decades of experience working for some of the world’s most successful companies. As a leading business strategist and culture transformer, she drove Philip Morris, American Express, Bausch & Lomb, and other top companies to significant advancements.
During Helen’s career, she turned around struggling businesses, integrated acquisitions, and created differentiated strategies to achieve results. As a trusted business partner she innovated ways to align systems, people, and cultures to drive execution.
The firm of Helen Halewski and Associates was founded in 2017, after Helen completed the transformation of the human capital systems at Hillside Family of Agencies where she was the Chief Human Resources & Organization Development Officer and the Chief Strategic Planning Officer.
Helen received her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the City University of New York. She lives on the shores of Lake Ontario with her husband. Helen is a classically trained musician, a decent cook, and a lousy golfer.
Krista began working with business owners and organizations in 1991 to identify strategies to achieve better productivity. She often found that many lacked a clear plan for success, or lacked effective implementation of a plan already completed. Still others had reached a plateau of success upon realizing that running a successful business required business expertise in everything from attracting and inspiring a great team to increasing profitability.
She launched KV Strategies in 1998 to provide solutions to businesses and organizations needing to define and implement a path to their success. Some call it a business plan, or a strategic plan, or even a funding plan. Many come to know it as their “playbook for productivity.”
Krista has facilitated hundreds of plans for businesses and organizations of all kinds. Her work has brought her across the United States and into Europe and Asia.
She was awarded the Women in Leadership Scholarship from Rochester Institute of Technology’s E. Philip Saunders College of Business in 2010 and graduated with honors with her Executive MBA in 2012. She has since been added to the faculty at Saunders College of Business as an Adjunct Professor teaching Leadership Skills.
When Krista is not guiding plans for businesses or organizations, she leads small-group retreats to Chiapas, Mexico to entrepreneurial communities in Tuxtla-Gutierrez and indigenous communities in the mountains surrounding San Cristobal de las Casas and beyond.
